What a week! We have now been sworn in, trained, assigned to committees and have joined our caucuses. The work has begun!
I have joined the rural caucus because of my passion for creating housing, attracting more economic vibrancy to our area and bringing much needed infrastructure resources to our towns. I was also chosen to be on the Education Committee where we will assess how the new Supreme Court ruling takes shape in our State with funding religious schools as well as take a deep dive into the potential for bringing back income based Education financing. No small tasks!
Overall the Legislature will look at more investments in housing, childcare, our climate, broadband expansion, municipal water and sewer infrastructure and the potential for sports betting. And we’re off!
